WOMANIST HERBALISM

Returning Women to Plant Wisdom

A 12-Week Journey into Herbal Healing, History, Community & Self-Love

For thousands of years, women have gathered roots, leaves, flowers, seeds, bark, fruits, and foods—not simply to prepare remedies, but to care for families, nourish communities, comfort the grieving, welcome new life, tend the sick, and celebrate the changing seasons.

Long before there were pharmacies, there were women.

Women who listened to the wind.

Women who understood the language of plants.

Women who knew that healing begins with observation, patience, nourishment, and love.

Womanist Herbalism is an invitation to remember that legacy.

This is not simply a class about herbs.

It is a return to the ancient relationship between women, the Earth, food, Spirit, and community.

Together, we will rediscover the wisdom carried by our grandmothers, aunties, neighbors, gardeners, midwives, cooks, healers, and everyday women whose quiet acts of care helped sustain generations. We will study plants not only for what they do chemically, but for what they teach us about resilience, reciprocity, intuition, and the rhythms of life.

As we learn to prepare herbal remedies and understand seasonal nourishment, we also begin another kind of healing—the healing that comes from slowing down, paying attention, trusting ourselves, and recognizing that caring for others and caring for ourselves are not opposing acts. They belong together.

Womanist Herbalism is rooted in the belief that healing is an expression of love.

Love for ourselves.

Love for our families.

Love for our communities.

Love for Creation.

Every cup of tea prepared with intention...

Every meal made from seasonal foods...

Every herb planted...

Every child comforted...

Every sister encouraged...

Every seed saved...

Becomes an act of healing.

This course is an opportunity to reconnect with that sacred work and to discover how your own gifts can become part of a living tradition that continues to grow through every generation.

Come home to yourself.

Come home to the garden.

Come home to the wisdom that has always been waiting for you.
